Since 2006 Cobra Automotive Technologies are active also in the field of wireless motorcycle communication with HelloBiker®, today in its second generation. Besides intercom connection between rider and pillion, HelloBiker® 2.0 allows for bike-to-bike communication and enables Bluetooth® connection with e.g. cellular phones, music players, satellite navigation systems. Riders can talk comfortably with their pillions without any wires hindering their movements, answer phone calls in handsfree mode, listen to music and the indications from the navigator in the earphones.

HelloBiker® 2.0 features multiple wireless connection possibilities:

Group intercom among up to 6 bikers within a range of 150 to 200 meters, in full duplex mode. |

Rider-to-passenger intercom communication, also in full duplex mode. |

Connection to Bluetooth mobile phones for handsfree conversation. |

Connection to music players (e.g. MP3 players) allows for the reception of hi-fi / stereo music. Bikers can listen to their favorites in the earphones and possibly share them with their biking-mate. |

Connection to satellite navigation systems. The voice indications from navigators can also be listened to in the earphones. |
The individual kit includes a control unit with its pre-wired attachment support, a pair of earphones and two different types of microphones, one for full-face helmets and one for jet or flip-up helmets, plus a battery-charger with two mini-USB connection plugs.
To control the rich range of functions of the new HelloBiker®, an optional 3 button selector is available for fitment to the handlebar, easy to operate even when wearing gloves and linked to the main unit by a wireless connection.
For user-friendly operation, the biker is guided through the menu by voice instructions in the earphones. Different languages can be uploaded into the unit via the mini-USB socket.
